AI KOLs on X: Published Ranks and Research Categories
Use this published AI KOL list to find work worth reading, not as a promise that the people listed accept sponsorship. Rank, professional visibility and fit for a particular product partnership are different questions.
Use the list for a defined reading task
| Task | Inspect first | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Understand research | Original work, public projects and depth | Read the profile and source material |
| Learn a tool | Recent walkthroughs and their conditions | Record useful teaching methods |
| Follow industry change | Sources, dates and later corrections | Compare multiple sources |
| Research a partnership | Actual work, business routes and discussion | Evaluate separately rather than selecting by rank |
This update does not recalculate the source ranking or add unverified biographies. The original snapshot date and scope remain applicable; an editorial update date is not a live data refresh.
Choose the related list for its reading purpose
For a learning-oriented follow list, use the AI creator reading guide. For research, product and communication signals, use the AI information-source guide. They are not two additional real-time rankings.
Before planning promotion, return to the partnership analysis checklist. Do not assume that listed professionals are available advertising placements.
How the Seekami ranking works
Seekami's published ranking is not a follower leaderboard. It combines four groups of public signals:
| Signal | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Industry network coverage | Relevant AI researchers, developers, founders, organizations, media, and investors connected to the account |
| Network authority | The quality and industry position of those connections |
| Public reach | The account's ability to carry ideas through public conversations on X |
| Recent engagement | Public engagement on original and quoted posts over the latest measured period |
The ranking answers who has influence inside the AI industry network. It does not claim that an account accepts sponsorships, endorses Seekami, or is the right partner for every campaign.

Choose by objective, not rank alone
For developer audiences, start with Andrej Karpathy, François Chollet, Lilian Weng, Jim Fan, Soumith Chintala, and John Carmack. Their work is closer to models, engineering, open source, and practical development.
For product and founder context, study Sam Altman, Andrew Ng, Mira Murati, David Ha, and Clément Delangue. For research and industry direction, Demis Hassabis, Ilya Sutskever, Fei-Fei Li, Geoffrey Hinton, Yann LeCun, and Jeff Dean provide stronger strategic signals.
High influence does not automatically mean sponsorship fit. Treat influence, content relevance, partnership intent, and contactability as separate questions.
Turn the ranking into a working shortlist
- Review the creator's latest 30 to 90 days of posts.
- Save specific evidence that matches your product and audience.
- Separate industry influence from commercial availability.
- Use only public, verifiable business contact routes.
- Define deliverables and usage rights before comparing quotes.
