Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This policy describes how Seekami ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Seekami website (seekami.net) and the Seekami Scout browser extension.
1. Information We Collect
Seekami Scout extension:
- Public profile identifiers. When you view an X (Twitter) profile with the extension enabled, the profile's public handle is sent to our API (api.seekami.net) to return creator analytics for that profile. We do not collect unrelated browsing history. The extension reads the current supported page URL to identify the profile or connect the Seekami account workflow.
- Settings. Extension preferences (language, feature toggles) are stored locally in your browser via Chrome storage and sync only through your own Google account's extension sync. We do not receive them.
- Authentication information. If you sign in with Google or email, we receive your email address and authentication-provider identifier to create your account, maintain your signed-in session, prevent abuse, and determine Free or Pro access.
- KOL workflow data. When you use private notes, purchase intent, or the KOL Pipeline, we store the content and status you submit under your account so it remains available across sessions. This information is not shown to other users.
- Optional Gmail connection. Connecting Gmail is separate from signing in to Seekami and is not required to view rankings. When available, this Pro feature requests
gmail.sendto send an outreach email only after you review its recipient and content and approve sending. We process the recipient, subject, message body, delivery status, and returned message/thread identifiers for that workflow. Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted on our API server. This release does not request inbox-read permission or automatically read incoming messages; inbox synchronization is not available. Older Google grants remain under your control until revoked. - Community comments. If you post a public comment on a KOL profile, we store the comment, the related public KOL handle, timestamp, and a pseudonymous author identifier. The comment is visible to other Seekami users until you delete it or request removal.
- Payment. Card and wallet payments may be processed by Waffo Pancake acting as Merchant of Record; alternative payment methods may be processed by NOWPayments or other providers shown at checkout. We never receive or store card numbers, wallet keys, or other payment credentials — only order, entitlement, and payment-status information returned by the payment provider.
Website:
- Inquiry submissions. If you submit a growth request or contact form, we store the information you enter (goal, budget range, contact details) to respond to you.
- Server logs. Standard technical logs (IP address, timestamps) are kept briefly for security and rate limiting.
- Public website analytics. Public website pages may use Microsoft Clarity to measure page visits, clicks, scrolling, and session interactions, with browser/device information and analytics identifiers. Clarity is not included in the extension, payment pages, Gmail callback, or private Pipeline pages. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
2. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We do not collect browsing history unrelated to the supported creator and Seekami workflows described above.
- We do not use advertising trackers in the extension.
- We do not transfer data to third parties except the service providers listed below.
3. Service Providers
- Waffo Pancake — Merchant of Record, checkout, tax, invoicing, payment processing, refunds, and buyer support.
- NOWPayments — payment processing (their own privacy policy applies during checkout).
- Fly.io — API hosting.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and DNS.
- Google — optional account sign-in, Gmail authorization, and delivery of emails you approve.
- Resend — delivery of sign-in verification codes to the email address you provide.
- Microsoft Clarity — analytics on public website pages, not private Pipeline or Gmail workflows.
4. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Seekami's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy. Google data is used only for the user-facing sign-in, account, and explicitly approved Gmail outreach features described here. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI models. Human access is limited to your affirmative permission for specific support, security or abuse investigations, legal requirements, or aggregated and anonymized internal operations permitted by these policies.
5. Data Retention
Account, license, order, private-note, purchase-intent, and Pipeline records are kept while your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations. Public comments remain until deleted by their author or removed following a valid request. Inquiry submissions are kept until handled and then archived. You may request deletion at any time through our data-deletion page or Contact.
Gmail authorization tokens are retained while the connection is active. You can revoke Seekami's access in Google Account connections. Revoking access does not automatically delete saved Pipeline messages or copies already sent through Gmail. To remove our stored connection and workflow records, use the data-deletion process; sent emails remain subject to Gmail and the recipient's retention.
6. Security
All traffic between the extension, the website, and our API is encrypted over HTTPS. Access to stored data is restricted to the Seekami team.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored settings.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
9. Contact
